Frequently asked questions
Is the data yours?
Yes. We capture it ourselves from public sources, with our own infrastructure. We do not buy or resell databases from other providers.
Does it include information about your clients?
No. The dataset covers products as they are published on each site: assortment, price, availability and product page content. It does not include anything a client has given us or the work we do for them, such as their catalogues, their product lists, the matching between products or the setup of their monitoring.
What is the difference between the dataset and the platform?
Both share the same capture infrastructure. With the dataset you get the raw data to work with your team and your tools, while the platform gives it to you matched to your catalogue, visualised, with alerts and with Seeker AI to query it and get recommendations. If you are after the latter, the Retail or Rent a Car platform is what you need.
Can I ask for a site you do not cover?
Yes, but then that monitoring has to be built and maintained, so it is quoted separately, reflected in the setup and the delivery time is longer than the usual 72 hours.
Does it include personal data?
It is product, rate, availability and public content data. The only data that can identify someone is the seller name, as published on the marketplace.
Can I resell the dataset?
Not by default. If your product includes it and you distribute it to your clients, there is a specific licence for that.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the volume, the number of sources and the depth of history. We give a fixed price once we see the scope.
