From the physical shelf to the digital storefront

Ana Lara explains how visibility, content, images and reviews drive conversion on the digital shelf.

Data Seekers

In a physical store, the shelf decides what the customer sees and in what order. Online it works the same way, except the shelf is a search results page and a product page, and it changes several times a day.

In this talk, Ana Lara, Business Development Manager at Data Seekers, walks through the elements that decide whether your product is seen and bought:

  • Visibility: where you appear when the customer searches your category, and who appears ahead of you.
  • Content: title, description, attributes and everything that answers doubts before buying.
  • Images: how many, at what quality and what they show.
  • Ratings and reviews: the factor that weighs most when a customer hesitates between two similar products.

Each of those elements can be measured and compared against the competition. The talk is in Spanish. Find out how in our digital shelf solution.
